Brother Francis: The Barefoot Saint of Assisi, a 10-part audio drama written and directed by Paul McCusker is slated for a November 2016 release. This is the first release from Augustine Institute Radio Theatre (A.I.R. Theatre), the new audio drama group headed by Paul McCusker after his departure from Focus on the Family. McCusker is currently the Senior Director of Content Creation at the Augustine Institute.
The drama was recorded at The Soundhouse Studios in London in April 2016. Joseph Timms (Beric The Briton) stars as Francis. The cast also features many other familiar names such as Daniel Philpott, Elizabeth Counsell, Peter Moreton, Dominic Hecht, Finty Williams, Ian Cullen and Stuart Pendred.
In addition to writer/director, Paul McCusker, the crew also includes Dave Arnold and Philip Glassborow. Jared DePasquale composed the score.
The team has also already begun work on an 8-part series on the life of St. Patrick, starring John Rhys-Davies, which is scheduled to release Spring 2017. Jared DePasquale was tapped to score this one as well and you can check out some selected pieces from the score on his website.
